Meet the women behind the bags.
Every HonorHonor bag begins with a mom.
The women who create our bags bring their own skills, creativity and attention to every piece they weave. HonorHonor provides a way for these mothers to turn that work into additional income for their families.

Maria Luz’s story with weaving began long before HonorHonor.
Growing up in Negros Occidental, she watched her mother make banig, traditional woven mats made from palm leaves. Maria Luz remembers watching her transform simple materials with her hands into something useful and beautiful. That early experience inspired a love of handicrafts that stayed with her.

IT BEGAN WITH HONOR
HonorHonor Foundation was created in memory of Honor Hernandez Arnstein, a beloved member of a family with a long tradition of helping others.
HonorHonor carries her spirit forward by creating opportunities that reflect the values by which she lived.
